I have a behringer xenix 1204 mixer and a vista laptop. I am trying to use sonar 8 and am having a little trouble. I can't seem to play back the audio I import but can record and play back my own recordings. So basically, I can sing a cappella but that's about it. I would like to import karaokes or instrumentals so I can sing over them. Also, I hear crackles when I listen to my former projects. I should add that I got sonar to work beautifully until one day, it just stopped playing anything back. I left it alone for months and am now trying it out again. It used to not crackle but now it does. It's as if the asio latency is too high or something. But the asio pannel is too confusing when I try messing around with it with jaws. How do you guys work with sonar and fix things in the asio pannel? And can you also help me in the matter of the audio not playing back when I import mp3s? Oh my God. I just had a thought. Is it only supposed to work with wav files when you import? I have to go check. Sorry for the rambling but I have so many questions... Thanks for reading.
